Ever wondered what each AWANA Theme Night is all about? Here are the AWANA Theme nights explained:
Crazy Hair Night: Make your hair as crazy as you can!!
Bible Character Dress Up: Clubbers are encouraged to dress as a Bible character.
Military Appreciation: Clubbers may come dressed up in their favorite military uniforms.
Mystery Night: Commander’s Surprise
Fall Harvest: We will be outside so dress warmly!
Christmas Party: Clubbers will enjoy Christmas cookies. If there are food allergies, please let our kitchen staff know.
Mustache Night: Come to club with your best mustache on.
Western Night: Clubbers are encouraged to dress up in western wear.
Giant Night: Clubbers may wear something GIANT and be prepared to participate in GIANT activities.
Do You Want to Build a Snowman: The clubbers will convert 4 unlucky volunteers into snowmen using only what they can bring or find in the building.
Glow in the Dark: All games activities will be done in the dark, and the clubbers will have glow sticks, etc.
Valentines: Clubbers can bring valentines and exchange if they would like.
Grand Prix Registration: First night the Pinewood Derby cars can be purchased.
Backwards Night: Clubbers are encouraged to dress backwards.
Favorite Sports Team Night: Clubbers are encouraged to come in their favorite sports team attire.
Club Spirit Night: Clubbers will dress up in their club uniform and each club will decorate their room and hallway showing their club pride.
Grand Prix: Clubbers will either be racing their cars to see who is the fastest, or showing their cars to win the design contest.
Pie in Your Eye: Clubbers who say a predetermined amount of verses, will have the opportunity to throw a cream pie in a leader’s face.
Fiesta Night: Southwestern style celebration!
Leadership Appreciation: Show your leaders how much you have appreciated all that they have done for you throughout the year.
Memorization contest: There will be a contest with specific rules passed out to each child in advance, to compete for a prize.
Best Joke Night: Come ready to tell your “Best Joke” to the Awana Commander for the possibility to win a prize.
