Our youth group consists of those in 6th – 12th grades and meets together throughout each week year round. We enjoy having fun while encouraging each other to grow more like Christ and to be shining lights for Him in a struggling world around us.
Our youth group is open to all teens in the area. All are welcome regardless of church affiliation. Our group currently consists of teens from Upper Cross Roads and multiple other area churches. FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) uses our facilities as a home gym, and we always enjoy having FCA athletes take part in our youth group. Teens attending our youth group come from multiple counties around the area.

Why Youth Group?
The Youth Group ministry of Upper Cross Roads Baptist Church exists ultimately for the purpose of honoring God through worship, evangelism, discipleship and service. The goal of this ministry is to encourage and exhort teens to have a living vibrant relationship with their Savior, Jesus Christ, as well as with their family and other fellow believers.
Our youth group ministry is not designed in any way to replace the ministry of parents in the home but rather to aid and strengthen the family unit through a focus on Biblical principles (Malachi 4:6). The primacy of God’s Word in addressing the problems teens face is the focus of our ministry. Sound Biblical teaching is presented at each youth meeting (2 Tim. 3:16-17). Personal discipleship is emphasized through meaningful discipleship relationships with the young people that attend (Titus 2:1-5, Heb. 3:12-13).
Visitors are warmly welcomed. Please contact us if you have any questions.
